We’re looking for volunteers to test the practical and written assessments that help us check whether a doctor is fit to practise. We’re doing this to make sure the tests are reliable, set at the right level, and fair to the doctor being assessed.

This is an opportunity to get valuable exam practice and gain extracurricular experience for applications and appraisals.

You’ll spend the day completing an objective structured clinical exam (OSCE). You’ll sit an 8 station circuit in the morning, lunch will be provided, and then you’ll sit a second circuit in the afternoon. We’ll ask for your feedback on the stations and you’ll receive a certificate for your portfolio, as well as £350.

If you’re a consultant you might also be eligible to assess on the day. Tell us about your relevant OSCE experience when you register and we’ll confirm whether you’re eligible to take part.
