FFICM Exam Reports
This page contains the reports produced after each diet of the FFICM Examination. For other resources related to the exam, please refer to the Resources For Candidates page.
FFICM Annual Report 2024-25
For the 2024-25 academic year, we have produced a new Annual Report summarising the delivery, performance, and quality assurance of the FFICM Final Examination.
During this period, the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine delivered four examination diets, continuing to uphold rigorous standards in the assessment of candidates’ knowledge, clinical
judgement, and communication skills at the point of entry to independent consultant-level practice.
We hope this improved, more detailed level of reporting will be useful to candidates, trainers, examiners, and wider stakeholders. We welcome feedback on the utility of this report and how it might be further improved in future iterations.
FFICM Chair of Examiners Reports
Prior to the 2024-25 academic year, the FFICM Chair of Examiners produced a report following each diet of the examination, discussin the outcomes of that sitting including candidate numbers, pass rates and common areas of difficulty. Please see below for these reports dating back to 2018.
