FFICM Multiple Choice Paper

From June 2022 the FFICM multiple choice paper will consist of all single best answer questions.

Each of these will have a stem and five alterative answers, one of which is the best (or ‘most correct’) answer.

There will be two types of questions:

  1. 80 ‘Short’ questions where the stem is short.  1 mark is awarded for each correct response.
  2. 50 ‘Long’ questions with a longer stem, often a clinical scenario. 2 marks are awarded for each correct response.

The overall exam time will remain 3 hours.
