Primary Examinations
A pass in the Primary examination of one of our partner Colleges - where similar assessments of basic medical science are made - is considered acceptable as an entry requirement for training in ICM.
Candidates must pass the Primary examination relevant to their core training programme (e.g. CAT or ACCS (Anaesthesia) candidates must pass the Primary FRCA).
There is no FFICM Primary examination at this time. Candidates for the FFICM Final exam will need to hold one of the listed Primary exams or exemption qualifications listed in the FFICM Examination Regulations.
