Election - FICM Intensivists in Training Representative 2024

Notice is hereby given that an election for the FICM Deputy Intensivist in Training Representative will be held on 13 November 2024.
 
The elected candidate will take office at the Board meeting on 15 January 2025. 

Term of Service

The maximum length of service is two years. This will consist of:

• one year as the Deputy Intensivist in Training Representative; starting in January 2025
• then one year as the Lead Intensivist in Training Representative, starting in January 2026

Eligibility

Those eligible to stand are trainee members in good standing with the Faculty, who are ST3 or higher and have been appointed to an ICM CCT programme (either the previous Joint CCT or the new standalone CCT/dual CCTs in the ICM programme) with at least 6 months of training still to complete upon taking up the position of the Deputy Intensivist in Training Representative.

If you would like to stand as a candidate for this vacancy, please complete the Form of Notice of Intention to Stand and return to contact@ficm.ac.uk by the closing date of 1pm on Tuesday 8 October 2024. Your application must be supported by a consultant who is a Fellow, Associate Fellow or Affiliate Fellow in good standing with the Faculty.

Important dates

A voting link to all trainees will then be sent out on the Wednesday 16 October 2024, which will include the nominees’ statements. Votes must be cast by 5pm on Wednesday 13 November 2024. The results will be published on the FICM website on Thursday 21 November 2024.
 

Please note this election will be run entirely electronically. Notice of this election will be sent out to all FICM registered trainees via the ICM LLP as well as via email. If you do not receive the email version, then your email address stored with the Faculty may be incorrect and you will not receive the voting link. .
