9. Outcome of an appeal

  1. If the appeal is dismissed, the candidate will be notified in writing setting out the decision(s) of the panel.  

  2. If the appeal is upheld in part only, the appellant will be notified in writing of the panel’s decision(s), including the limits/ scope of the outcomes and timescales for implementing any of the decisions.   

  3. If the appeal is upheld in full, the Appeals Panel will determine the appropriate action to remedy the situation following the appeal including:  

    a) Refund of the examination fee. 

    b) Free re-sit of the examination. 

    c) Expunging the result from the candidate’s record.  

    d) A letter of acknowledgement.
