Onboarding IiTs - Information for Trainers
From on 7 April 2025, the ICM CCT registration process will move fully online. Paper forms will no longer be accepted.
Key Information for Supervisors and Programme Leads
- We understand that previous electronic registration forms were often used to support local rotation planning.
- Due to high volumes, the FICM admin team may take up to two weeks to process new registrations.
- To support planning, we recommend collecting key information from newly appointed doctors locally in advance. The Word version of the old registration form can be used as a reference; however, all official ICM CCT registrations must be submitted via the online webform. FICM will not accept any other format.
Why the Change?
The new online process is designed to:
- Streamline and speed up the registration process
- Reduce administrative delays
- Minimise errors from incomplete or incorrect submissions
Signatures from RAs and TPDs are longer required. However, before submitting the form, doctors must first agree with their ICM RA and/or TPD which of their prior training posts will count towards the ICM CCT programme.
After onboarding, the Faculty will send the doctor’s registration letter and their submitted list of training posts to the RA and TPD for final checks. Any inaccuracies can be corrected at this stage.
Please direct newly appointed IiTs to the Faculty’s ‘Onboarding Page’, which now includes the online registration webform and step-by-step guidance for completing the registration process. NB: IiTs must be registered with us before receiving access to the FICM LLP.
