We Want To Hear From You
We want CICM to reflect the needs of its members
We want to understand what’s important to you and how you’d like to see your specialty and your career within it evolve. As CICM, we value member engagement and will convene a programme of events and materials so that we can keep these conversations open.
It is important that the new College truly represents all members, so we are asking for your views and your hopes for a new College, what you would expect to see from us and the values by which we should operate.
Ways for you to get involved
- We invite you to take part in our CICM Connection member engagement events - these take place on Zoom and are an opportunity for members and our Board and staff to come together to share updates and talk.
- Look out for our Faculty Tutors, Regional Advisors and Board members in your areas. They play a crucial role in not only sharing information to members, but also feeding back themes and comments from their conversations about how CICM is working.
- Ask us to present to your group, we are keen to engage with members and keep connected.
- We will also ask you to help share the member benefits that we offer, so that we are supporting you as effectively as we can.
- Volunteer to be part of our campaigns as we develop them. We want to have the voice of ICM heard at the highest levels and for ICM to be at the forefront of decisions that affect our members and our patients and their families.
- Our FICM committees will continue as we become CICM, joining one of these will bring your own experiences and opinions and guidance to the fore.
- Develop our educational content with us, so that your experiences and learning will directly benefit others.
- Help us define our event programmes so that the content reflects what’s important to the diverse members of our specialty.
- Share your patients’ and their families’ experiences with us, so that we can remain focussed on helping deliver good quality of care across the critical care pathway.
- Like and repost our online posts, so that your online network peers in our and other specialties can also see how we are progressing
- Email us at contact@ficm.ac.uk - let us know how you are doing so we can stay member-focused.
