TEST - PICS - Common physical issues

Many physical problems can be encountered after critical illness. These can be new or old symptoms that have got worse.

Some physical symptoms will be permanent and some will improve over times with support from recovery services in the community, hospital services or self directed, which means you working on your recovery by yourself.

It is very common to struggle with fatigue and poor sleep. Sleep disordered breathing is often unrecognised, but can contribute to fatigue during the day and poor memory.

Please view the following website for more information and ask your GP to request a sleep study and referral to the sleep clinic at Guy's if you are concerned this could be affecting you: www.blf.org.uk/information/osa
