What physiological parameters must be optimised?

Target clinical observations: 

  • HR < 120 bpm 

  • BP > 90 mmHg systolic 
  • MAP > 60 mmHg 
  • Temp > 360C 
  • UO > 0.5mls/kg/hour 

Target POC/ Lab parameters: 

  • Hb > 80 g/dL 

  • Platelets > 75 x 109/ L 

  • PT ratio < 1.5 

  • APTT ratio < 1.5 

  • Fibrinogen (clauss) > 2 g/L 

  • Ionised calcium > 1 mmol/L  

  • pH > 7.2 

  • normal K+ concentration
